It's a kitchen!

Becky caught me working. (Ha)

Let's go home.

"Can I cook yet?" she ask.

Could you cook before?

Looking more like a kitchen?

Almost there.
A coat of paint really changes the looks.

Checking for hollidays.
We thought we'd show you some of the things we got involved in with our business. This house was done with First Connection. It was your typical World Changer style work which is with people that cant afford to do their own repairs. It grew daily. We started by being asked to finish some drywall and installing cabinets. When we got there, all the drywall had to be removed and reinstalled, tear out trhe rest of the kitchen, paint, cover the floor, repair electrical issues, install cabinets, sing, disposer, and dishwasher.
We started thinking it might take a week and spent two full weeks there.

All drywall removed, replaced and finished.

Electrical lights over sink had to be installed

Tray ceilings.

Make those walls smooth for painting.

Learning the finner art of putting on mud and taking it off. Don't use too much, but just enough.

And just to make it fun, the lovely oak tree which helps to make the pollen level 5900 plus. This great tree gives shade in the summer, leaves to rake in the fall and tons of pollen which makes us all sneeze and cough in the spring.

Isn't life great!!

The blue berries are blooming and getting ready for another bumber year. They might be some left by the if we don't eat them all first.

Purple azaleas.

Pink azaleas bloom everywhere.

The wisteria hangs full like graprs ready to be picked for the wine.

Just a note to all you that are not with us here in GA. Its srring time everywhere you look. It's only March 29 bujt we are in full bloom.
The Dogwoods are beautiful. No frost to burn them this year.

A great day for cleaning the yard and getting ready for Sarah and Chad's BIG DAY!
(And you thought we had nothing better to do with our time.)
As you can see, Darden has LOTS OF HELP!

Even Chester wants to get in on the clean up.

"Is there going to be a wedding or something?"

Wouldn't you love to have a helper that was this cute?

(we're only a LOT prejudice!)

As you can see on this "beautiful day in the neighborhood", we're cleaning the yard by using our safety burn barrel. (We discovered it was a bit too windy, so hauling it off will have to do.)

FUN ON THE TRAMPOLINE!

Everybody needs a break from yardwork.
As Madeline says..."Stop jumping. I have more fun running funny."

"Get this trailer movin Papa. We've only got 14 weeks left to MOVE THIS STUFF"

You tell him Madeline!

Check the finish on your floors before you remove the carpet. It can be costly to correct the problem.

This is how you make a king bed out of a double rope bed. "Anything for a buck"

Sarah's new colors. What do you think. No more purple with grapes.

Since getting laid off from Ed Voyles, Becky and I started our own business doing Handy work. "Anything for a buck" as they say. Floors, carpentery, paint of whatever.

Here is Sarah, sporting her new "do" and showing off her dude. If you haven't heard as of yet, they are planning on getting married this summer. I think the date is June 23 but I haven't recieved the final invitation.

She plans of finishing college after they are hitched and he promises to keep her at it.

He is a great guy, but he does drive a Nissan. Oh well, there's always room for improvement.

The stars at night , are big and brignt, but not in Sarah's room any more. They are gone gone. And so is the purple room. It took several coats of paint to cover up.
The first sign of spring.
